Sri RajaKaliamman Temple, Malaysia

Temple History : Arulmigu Sri RajaKaliamman Temple is one of the oldest temples located in the State of Johor, Malaysia. It has been in existence since 1922 on a piece of land bequeath to the Indians in Johore Bahru by the generosity of the Sultan of Johore. The temple’s growth was restricted and limited to the size of a small hut in the early years but over the years it has turn out to be one of the biggest temples in Johor Bahru. The temple’s Chairman, Mr. Sinnathamby who took over the administrative responsibilities from his father, Mr. Sivasamy, in year 1991, has dedicated his life to make the home of Mother Kali a great place of worship. The temple would in fact remain a hut forever had it not been the sole commitment by the Chairman to reconstruct this temple to a better place of worship.

Knowing that it is not an easy job to build and bring about a temple in accordance to the Hindu agamas, all the previous committees have abandon and never ventured to improve the temple premises. Left alone with an onerous task, the incumbent Chairman took courage with fervor in his heart and together with the blessings from the Divine Mother, he had embarked towards the construction of the temple worthy of a place for divinity in the name of Sri MahaKaliamman. At the tender age of 21 years, he had an amazing vision to construct a beautiful temple as a worthy abode for the Divine Mother. Despite the initial difficulties he managed to overcome all the sufferings and obstacles with the sole belief in name of Mother Kali and Her blessings.

In 1996, the temple had its official Maha Kumbabishegam and thousands of devotees had gathered here to support and view the beautiful new temple in Johor Bahru town. All the credit goes to this young man who went through all the effort to make it possible against the odds to gives this great place of worship. As the years passed by, he handled the daily pooja and other ceremonies by himself and has acquired the divine knowledge in accordance to the Hindu agamas and has taken the position of a Guru. Creating a knowledgeable way of offering worship and teaching the devotees the right path to reach the Divine and gathering for themselves the strength to overcome personal problems has been one of the of many things he have been doing since then. This spiritual luminary had developed a strong thirst to realize the divine Supreme Being at a very early age. Anyone who approached him or appealed to him for help, found solace and solutions for their problems regardless of their religion, race or language. Besides his profession as a teacher, he plays a bigger role to uphold the temple’s growth and plans many more changes for the improvement of the community in various ways through the Nyana Yutham Welfare Association which was launched by him in the year 2001.

அருள்மிகு ராஜகாளியம்மன் திருக்கோயில்,மலேசியா


ஆலய வரலாறு : மலேசியாவின் ஜோகூர் மாகாணத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள மிகப் பழமையான ஆலயம் அருள்மிகு ராஜகாளியம்மன் ஆலயமாகும். முழுவதும் கண்ணாடியால் அமைக்கப்பட்ட மலேசியாவின் முதல் கோயில் இது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. ஜோகூர் சுல்தானால் வழங்கப்பட்ட நிலத்தில் 1922ம் ஆண்டு இக்கோயில் கட்டப்பட்டதாகும். பல தடைகளைத் தாண்டி ஜோகூர் பஹ்ரு பகுதியின் மிகப் பெரியக் கோயிலாக இக்கோயில் உருவெடுத்தது. 1991ம் ஆண்டு தனது தந்தை சிவச்சாமிக்கு பிறகு சின்னத்தம்பி கோயிலின் தலைவராக பொறுப்பேற்றார். இவர் காளியம்மன் கோயிலை மிகப் பெரிய தலமாக உருவாக்க தனது வாழ்நாளையே அர்ப்பணம் செய்தவர். மின்னத்தம்பி கோயில் நிர்வாகத் தலைவராக பொறுப்பேற்ற பிறகு, கோயிலில் மேலும் பல மாற்றங்கள் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டது. இந்து ஆகம விதிப்படி பல மாற்றங்கள் செய்யப்பட்டு, அருள்மிகு மகாகாளியம்மன் திருக்கோயில் எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டது. சுமார் 21 ஆண்டுகள் பலவித தடைகள், போராட்டங்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கடந்து காமியம்மனின் அருளால் இக்கோயிலில் காளியம்மன் சிலை பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டு, வழிபாடு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

1996ம் ஆண்டு இக்கோயிலின் மகா கும்பாபிஷேகம் வெகு விமர்சையாக நடைபெற்றது. இவ்விழாவில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு, பேராதரவு அளித்தனர். அதன் பின்னர் ஆகம விதிகளின்படி தினசரி பூஜைகளும், திருவிழாக்களும் தவறாது நடைபெற துவங்கியது. நாளடைவில் சின்னதம்பி இக்கோயிலின் ஆஸ்தான குரு ஆக்கப்பட்டார். இவரது ஆன்மீகப் பேச்சுக்களை கேட்க நாள்தோறும் ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் இக்கோயிலை நோக்கி வந்த வண்ணம் உள்ளனர். பக்தர்கள் தங்களது சொந்த பிரச்னைகளுக்கும் இவரிடம் தீர்வு பெற்று செல்கின்றனர். இதனால் இவரது புகழ் மலேசியா முழுவதம் பரவத் துவங்கியது. அடிப்படையில் ஆசிரியரான இவர், இக்கோயிலின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு பெரும் தொண்டாற்றி வருகிறார். மேலும் 2001ம் ஆண்டு நயனயுதம் நல்வாழ்வு கழகம் என்னும் அமைப்பு ஒன்றை நிறுவி, அதன் மூலம் கோயிலை நிர்மானித்து வருகிறார்.

ஆலய தெய்வங்கள் : ராஜகாளியம்மன் கோயிலில் சிவன், விஷ்ணு, பெரியாச்சி அம்மனக்கு முறையே தனித் தனி சன்னதிகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மேலும் முருகன், விநாயகர், அம்பாள் என அனைத்து தெய்வங்களும் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவைகள் தவிர சாய்பாபா, ஷீரடி சாய்பாபா, ராகவேந்திரர், விவேகானந்தர், ராமகிருஷ்ணர் உள்ளிட்ட மகான்களுக்கும் சிலைகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
